Couple observations..............

First. The longitudinal arms where they connect to the frame seem to have u-joints. This will not only allow the arms to raise up and down, but also will have some limited side to side movement, limited by the sway bar links and rear latitude arm connection. Check out the pics below.

Not only will this take the stress out of that pivot point, but i think would assist in keeping the both rear wheels firmly planted even in situations when there is excess body roll.

I think the combination of comfort and handling will be awesome in this machine.

Second...........

The design of the cage is going to make a real challenge for a roof that will function well and also look good. The roof actually stops just barely over the top of the drivers head, where it then turns into the windshield pillar. Check out the pics.

The transition from the windshield pillars to the roof is kind of weird too. How it angles back in at the top, and then no side supports for a roof to attach to. We will see what the aftermarket comes up with.

First time I've seen that shot from the front. It does have decent fender-coverage afterall.

Does not have much rubber on it tho. It should do-in those tires in short-order!!!!

Yank....the Prowler has no side supports either.....and yet there have been a number of different roofs made. I see the roof with a "Visor" over hanging where the windshield intersects. Piece of cake....have it all worked out. lol!

Question Why would they do that. Are they going to try and get more travel out of their Teryx with out redesign the machine completely?

the big gap between the body and the rear tire is a great place to mount a tree. and its gonna need a lot of ground clearance because its as long as a school bus.

They also advertise a 60/40 weight bias. rear heavy front light, I am curious to see if this causes excessive understeer (pushing) in tight turns?

No doubt, especially with the Gas Tank in the very rear end.

Yep, Longer shock will give you more wheel travel. Most of your Sport Quads have the Longer shock connected to the bottom arm.

I like it and I'm glad they made it so different.. No doubt by looking at it they buit it with dunes and open desert in mind.. That doesn't mean it won't turn out to be a good trail machine..

Not crazy about a few things on it though.. I agree a roof is going to be an issue...
