| 08 700 free-wheels downhill when it makes some clutch noise. Get on the gas a little, no noise and EBS comes back. One-way bad???? | |

| This is a 1600 mile machine, belongs to my neighbor. He says it's been doing this for almost a year??? I suspect #10 the One-way bearing. The belt-covers virgin, never been pulled. He says it will EBS, makes some noise, then freewheels....The one-way is oil-bathed. Maybe it just needs a good sheave-cleaning and re-grease.  | |

| That was the problem on mine....but not till around 4k miles. The one way in mine was dry....not sure how. Just cleaned it and added lube and re-installed worked like new. | |

| the one way runs in the engine oil...they go bad about every3000 miles..i have them in stock for 55.00 | |

| my 07 i had ,did not run in the engine oil !
same issues with mine 2000 miles.fixed the issues .
pate ...its been a while ,but it wasnt that far down ...more like # 4 | |

| Yes it did, you are mistaken, evidently it's been too long cause your giving out wrong information! If your being so confident to tell somebody they are wrong, you should prolly make sure your giving the right info. What your talkin about is the shaft bearing not the one-way. I sell them & work on them everyday! Look at the diagram, it has a gasket because it runs in the motor oil. I've sold 10 this month.
