| I have both skid and nerfs... and they work great... well worth the cost.
I did loose the tail peice on the skid, and Andre replaced it. I then welded it, along the front edge, to the next one and haven't had any more problems...

| I guess that depend on how hard you are rubbing. They do not extend back past the flare, so a smaller tree will get to the flare. But they help.
I got a wider set of flares now so they are more exposed than the standard S flares. I don't think there is anything one can do to fully protect the flares. | |

| I have the EMP full aluminum skids. Well made, 3/16" thick and do the job well and I've tested them throughly  EMP is a site site sponsor and they have a great price for members. I have the Polaris rock sliders and they protect the sides & edge but not the best design. I am in the process of building mine own version. | |
