| After stealth traded for that nice Duramax, I hit AutoTrader.com. Now look what I found just a county away. It was a local trade from here, Louisville. It has the 2nd generation, better heads on it, engine. I sure hated to get ride of the gas 6.0 that I had since 2004, but I won't miss to low power and fuel sucking it did. This one looks and drives like it. | |

Not a lot $. This one was for $19,488. These were running $26,000 to $29,000 last year. Dealer cut a deal on a trade and passed it on. I talked to the previous owner before I bought it and he backed up the dealers story. He just wanted out of a payment and wanted a high milage jeep on a trade they had. They told him he should just sell the truck for about $25,000 or $26,000 and after he paid it off, bought the jeep, then he would have a lot of CASH. He said just take it. Then I said I will take it. | |

| Nice truck. I'm sure you will like the extra power of the diesel.. I'm still loving mine. Only thing that sucks is the price of fuel.. I paid 4.05 a gallon the other day while unleaded was sitting at something like 3.71 Drove 430 highway miles today in my Tundra with an average of 19.5 mpg. My Duramax doesn't do any better milage wise. In town its a little worse then the Tundra.. You going from the 6.0 gasser to the duramax will probably be more of a difference though. Bad mileage is the main reason I didn't go with the gas 2500.. | |

| Smith, the previous owner said it had a tuner in it. The dealer claimed it didn't. I say the dealer's mechanics took it out and will sell it on line. I only got about 15.4 mpg on the first test. About half was open road and the other was city. It has a S&B air system and Mike Clark says that the muffler and tail pipe have been upgraded. Smith, do you think if they unplugged the tuner that it stayed at a that setting? I want better fuel milage when not towing and towing. What do you suggest? I thought of starting over by taking to the dealer to reflash. | |
