KyMedic, how do these differ from the Kenwoods? These will scan while the Kenwoods are set to one channel? Do they have the same number of channels? I am definately interested and hate to miss out on all the chatter on these rides.

These are a higher wattage than the Kenwood 35 vs 25 watts. Both scan. These are only 8 channel radios where the kenwoods held all 22 Frs/Gmrs frequencies. From my experience though most people stay on the lower channels.

Most of the time we use channel 1 through 7. I like 14 because there is less chat from others.

Medic, my Kenwood is pushing 50 watts woo hoo but that is not stock. Like most things I own. lol!

Yeah, I think I know what is wrong. If it is not the power leads then the mic is bad.

For everyone that's sent messages asking about antenna's for these, I have antennas ordered and should be here by this weekend. I ordered several different style of mounts. Some require a hole to be drilled into the roof, some magnetic mount and some are a L bracket that can be screwed onto about anything. Just let me know which kind you need and ill give you a price on them.

Got the antennas in. Have 1 magnetic mount left and a few of the standard mount that go through the roof. Price is $140 with standard mount and $150 with the magnetic mount antenna. Down to 5 units left.

All sold. Merlin got the last one. As of right now I don't have anymore programmed but by the end of the week I should have some killer Ericsson 40 watt 128 channel radios ready to go.
