SXS roundup report Empty
PostSubject: SXS roundup report   SXS roundup report EmptyTue Sep 04, 2012 11:20 am

Well....... I probably did the least amount of riding I have ever done in a weekend but at the same time had just as much fun. First it started off as me and my brother took his rhino and my commander out for a lil high speed run down the road a few hrs before we leave, I notice the commander starts getting hot, after 2 hours of rewiring things it ended up being my fan motor decided to dump out on me at the perfect time. So the commander went up there but she was a campground queen, at least I got to take her down to the creek and party down there however, but no trails. We get there and get lost on friday night off of 103 down that really really bad trail that comes off of 103 and is unmarked. I was riding in joshes rhino, we rolled 3 times down the hill finally getting stopped by a tree (concussion number 5 is in the books for me). We were both ok just scratched up. We tipped it back the right way the next day and drove it out of there. Only bent his mounts for his roof and that was it. What made it worth it was the concert sat night and getting to see some faces I had not seen in a long time, and getting to meet baby huey and bonzo and badittude finally! Its always good to see chris and melissa and greg as well! Anybody i forgot it was great to hang with you guys too! Pictures to follow, and a great video of us rigting the rhino on the side of a mtn

How do you take a rhino on a high speed run? Anyhow, glad you're ok. Is the new shortbus 3-wheel drive coming out on the 14th?

Matt all kidding a side you should sell that thing asap.. It really is broke more often then not.. I only know a few guys with commanders and all of them have had nothing but trouble with them.. Yeah RZRs eat bushings and balljoints. But those are super easy to replace and not very expensive. I also agree with Big R on the crashing thing.. RZR, Rhino, Teryx, even the Commander can all make it up the same trails more or less. The difference is s RZR is just easier.. Heck my wife drove on red trails at brimestone her second time behind the steering wheel. If she would have been driving one of the other machines, I know she would have had a lot more trouble. Probably even been on her lid or at the very least her side before it was said and done.. I know you guys don't want to drive a polaris like everyone else. But there is a reason why thats almost all you see now. They are expensive cheap shit.. But they just work.

Got too much invested in it already, and its already back on its feet again (fan motor was 50 bucks). However......... there is one machine that is getting released that if they got it right I will trade the commander in for it next week. If not I will just wait for the next gen rzr. Its not like Im gonna have this thing forever just my ride for now to piss yall off untill the next great things comes around lol

there are 6 of us that run commanders up here and we never have issues with them. they are known as the "RZR recovery vehicle" in Washington State!
