The EFI is not that sophisticated, there is no mass air flow sensor. Polaris uses a simple rpm & BAP map for fuel control. It does adjust for inlet air temp also.

If you take the filter out and look into the throttle body you can see or feel the sensor at the top. That is what you need to clean. Spray oil filters are not good in RZR's.

That would be the IAT/BAP sensor and yes oil can cause issues with the sensor. Pull it out and spray it down with elec/brake cleaner then blow it dry. Clean the filter with a degreaser / dry / then lightly oil the outside of the air cleaner. If that does not fix the low idle remove teh air filter and check the idle without it installed.

On a side-note-
Loose the K&N!!!!! Or at least put an Outerware on it if you want your motor to last. Probably the reason you're dirty inside!!!

Same as above, except I use an electric contact cleaner, that is ok to use on plastic. I would suggest going back to a stock filter with an Outer Ware sock on it. Most of us have been down the road you are on. Like Big R said, it is the first electric sensor just beyond your filter. Remove it and spray clean it down.
