I rate ours a 10 for useability! It will go anywhere you want it to, you can use it on the farm. You can bring the family or three friends along. Fuel sipper. Plenty of power and good towing capacity too. Great 4wd setup with the front locker. Not too loud and the seats are super comfy. Any thing you want to know about specifically?

MIKE_D summed it all up! Definitely reliable! All I do to mine is... ride it, wash it, and park it. I also use mine on the farm. Really if you want to haul the family around or a bunch of friends It's a good choice. I have rode with just about every make and model and the T4 hangs right in there with them all. It's no hot rod , but the torque of the v-twin will move you pretty good.

Ive currently driven every utv on the market minus the maverick maxx (4 seater) but have only owned half of them (I aint got BIG R MONEY). I LOVE MY T4, like blu said I ride it, wash it, park it. Shes not the fastest, or the smoothest, however it is reliable and has plenty of giddy up for the trails. Also the suspension is as about as smooth as it gets without having a long travel type setup (which to be honest with you is plenty smooth enough) Its one of the last few new machines that has a true locker which is awesome. The only thing it falls short on is wheel travel, but that is being said comparing it to a can am maverick the cat or a rzr xp. It has plenty for normal trails, just extreme off camber stuff is a little difficult.

I love mine, and it fits my needs perfectly. Has lots of cup holders and is dependable Beer

No, The T4 has a completely different engine. the only thing that is the same is the steering wheel and the rims. the oil filters will work, but the T4's filter is taller.

The only thing similar is their displacement, everything else is new. High Comp heads new cams, new clutch, better intake, etc etc Trust me it has plenty of torque

the 2012's and 13's are the same. the 2014's have some extras. they have also changed the ratio on the belt drive. mostly in the low range. the 14 has a lower ratio for better crawling. of course you will still have the normal top speed in high range.

I really like my T-4. However, I have only put 80 miles on it...

I bought it for family riding and to use around the house. It has the nicest fit and finish of any machine I have owned.

My Teryx 4 is way too loud. Have to stop to talk, go, stop to talk, go, stop to talk, go. Defeats the purpose of being together. It also tears up the grass on all corners, even level and downhill ones, because there is no rear differential whatsoever. I know most others do this too, but that's a very poor design. Common sense says the rear lock should be switchable like the front is.

Craigo I like the fact that it's loud. When I take my wife with me, she just talks away and I can just sit there and act like I'm listening. Even though I can't hear a thing. she always said that I listen more when we go riding. lol! Just remember to nod every now and then.

BlueDevil, that's hilarious! Trouble is, my wife doesn't talk much. Maybe we should swap wives. We are looking at maybe trading the Teryx for a 2014 Polaris Ranger EV. In 2 weeks the dealer is going to bring one out so we can test it on my trails.

Have you thought about a helmet intercom system? Can run music thru them and even answer phone calls!

Stench, thanks for the tip, but I don't like band-aids. It would be like stuffing paper into the toe of your boots because they are too big. Problem solved? I don't think so. I say just get the right size boot to begin with. I'm certain Kawi could have made these machines much quieter, but we all know that peer-pressured, drunk, non-thinking, immature young men are the main marketing target by their overwhelming interest and sheer numbers. That poses a problem to the few mature men that remain.

You will regret that purchase.....The Evs are plagued with charger-problems. It's not like a golf-cart with an external charger. It's built-in. The batteries are proprietary also. You can't just go out and buy off-the shelf batteries for it. I've seen so many threads about owners un-happiness with the machine. I'd do some research first! Ever driven a Ranger-900?? It's whisper-quiet, drives like a mini-truck and has more power than you'll ever need.

I talked to two people who did that and both said it didn't help much. We tried placing blankets over the center hump area just as an experiment and it didn't help. Still loud. I did add a removable pipe to the tailpipe that I can insert steel wool in. Helps a little. Went from totally unacceptable to unacceptable. Haven't been using the Teryx' ability to hold itself back down hills lately - too loud so been using the brake instead.

Thanks for the info, ridepate. From the research I've done, the 2010 - 2012 had charger issues, but it was mostly solved by the 2013 models. Hopefully the 2014's are even more trouble-free. I wonder if I can get the dealer to write up that the batteries would be covered if the charger fries them. I've got some research and testing to do for sure.
