| will a 4500lb wide spool winch bolt on to the emp bumper? i found a 4500 and a 3500lb superwinch terra for the same price brand new. i know the 3500 is enough but the thought keeps creeping up that i might as well get the big boy for the same price? | |

| Don't do it you will bend the bumper and void your warranty. I know it happened to me. WHEN you bend the bumper tell them you had a 2500 lb winch on it when it bent. That's all it took to bend mine. Buy a better bumper from a good company. Don't support company's that treat customers like shit. | |

| I have a emp like bumper ans destroyed it. My friend fixed it and braced it from top to bottom. Solid like it should have been to start with. | |

| Another vote for stay away from EMP, never had anything by them but what I have read on others forums they seem to get very bad reviews from all brand owners....... | |

| Never had the bumpers from EMP, but the skid plates, A-Arm guards and few other parts have been on mine since 09 and never had any issues. I hope Rick didn't get to big to keep customers happy. I know Super ATV has a lot of junk, but they are still backing there stuff to keep the customer happy. | |

| The one I bought is from Hyperfab. I gave $250 for mine and after adding some bracing is a great bumper. If you have someone that can weld it would only take 15 min to fix the problem. | |

| Racer tech and motoalliance makes a winch bumper now. They are pretty expensive, But if you want one from a big vender that backs their stuff it would be them.. The Racer tech bumper I had on my 800 was built pretty good.
I wouldn't buy one knowing your going to have to beef it up right out of the box. If thats the case just build one and save the money.. | |
