decided to tear into the front end, the Sprague was all to pieces, 1 tooth off the ring gear, and NO fluid in the diff, hav'nt figured out the no fluid yet, don't know how it lasted this long. I ordered an aftermarket Sprague from superatv, and had to get a ring gear from Polaris, 620$ for parts, will be up and running AGAIN fri, thanks for all the suggestions and advise.

That sucks. I had it guessed right except for the no fluid part. Mines messed up too just haven took it apart yet. Prob same thing, but I know I have fluid. Wel see how long it holds out.
