My dad did it for 35 years in Louisville,Retired captain ,have some nice pictures of some of his company at work.Best picture was a 3 alarm in 78 with 2 trucks frozen to the ground,even with all the heat from the fire.That,s the year the Ohio river froze over if any one from the Louisville area is old enough to remember

Cool! I talked to Brent the other day. He said the only thing he is going to miss about that place is you...... I told him to buy a machine

Great Video. I know it may sound crazy, but that's what has keep me in firefighting for almost 33 years. I'm "Old School", I've always been in it for the service to community and the love of the job.

I have always admired those of you willing to do this job.  Our local FD members are all treated as kinfolk.

This is my Dad on the far left, sometime in the early 60's.  He did this gig for awhile before he started with a trucking company, hauling freight to and from Louisville every day.  Anyway...
