| Yep. Getting tired of cleaning and hauling the XLR when it is just me and MUDHOE, and occasionally a friend or two. We have thought about this for a while, but I knew I wanted something not so tall, in the 10 foot outside height range and 7,000 lb range. I had to go to a bumper pull to get that. Not much choice. I found that Thor/Dutchmen made a 32 foot, Victory Lane 28 SRV around 2004 to 2006. This is in the 10 foot height range, 7,200 lb dry weight, has a separate garage and a very small bedroom. That is about 5,000 lbs. lighter and 3 feet shorter than my XLR. These units have all aluminum frame, 12' 3" garage with queen drop down bed. I could only find 4 of these in the U.S. for sale. I went and picked this one up in Rockford Illinois yesterday. 8 hour trip one way. Rockford is just below Wisconsin and North West of Chicago. We haven't been back to Illinois since I got out of the Air Force in 1980. I don't miss it. Sites on the trip include lots and lots of Wind Mills, DeKalb Illinois, Frozen rivers, lots of wind and flat ground. | |

| Looks nice Les. I have been looking for one similar, I think around 24'-28' is something I could enjoy. They sure do have plenty of garage space for such a short trailer. | |

| Very nice trailer. I know you were wanting to downsize. Won't be as easy to find you in the campground now though but a lot less work im sure. | |

| Been working on it today. Got the extra outlets in the bedroom done for the sleep comfort mattress and other needs. We still like it so far. Have to go camping to be sure though. | |

| Finally got the RZRS loaded in the new toy hauler, finished installing and adjusting the Dual Cam Sway control system, the equalizer system and towed the trailer some. You can see the new wheels and tires I put on the trailer too. The Sway and Equalizer system. I have the new propane tank cover off. I have to remount the tank holder more forward in the next day or so. The new tires and wheels | |

and are the dogs happy I have 15" wheels on the new/used trailer. I went with the Maxxis M8008's. When I got the tires for the XLR 5th wheel, I had 16" wheels, I went with the Goodyear G614's. 110psi G rated. Very expensive. Make sure to check the psi rating stamp on the back of your wheels if you upgrade,. If you go that route, call Beth at Kaiser Tire on Plantside Dr. after you get prices elsewhere. Tell her you have gotten other prices and ask her for her best price. | |
