I remember those videos...it closed about the time I bought a Rhino....those were awesome trails!

I read a lot of their proposed planning and development. I sounds like they are going to be very OHV friendly. In their plan they cited that 52% the business would come from OHV usage. They have several alternate plans and it will be interesting to see what happens. My father-n-law has a cabin right down the road in Jefferson so I think I might make a trip up to check it out.

We are doing a job on the Outer Banks for a man that has 900 acres in Doe Valley. Although he did not sound opposed to the ORV's he did make a comment about people being on parts of his property that he did not want them on. Evidently some of the trails were on his property that folks are allowed to ride on!

I live about 30 minutes from Doe Mountain and my parents live at the base of the mountain so I have rode there a few times before it became a park and as they was building it. At this point I would say don't waste your gas $18 a day per person or $60 a year per person for 30-40 miles of trails. I can compare the trails to pulling out of your drive way driving on the interstate. Its no where close to what Callalante no need for 4wd here this is a place you could bring grandma and not have to worry about her being scared.
