RUSSELL COUNTY, Va. -
An investigation is underway after deputies find an infant's body in Russell County.


Russell County Chief Deputy Bill Watson tells us the body was found near Castlewood.

We're told the body will be sent to Roanoke for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

Watson tells us this is an active investigation and Russell County Sheriff Steve Dye plans to release more information when it becomes available.
