I had my battery light flashing on the night ride at Royal Blue going up to the TOP OF THE WORLD. Had to ride back in the dark. Sporto pulled up beside me and his wife saw a wire that was arcing by the left rear tire.
I found that the wires from the stator (charger) and some others were pulled too tight across the shifter cable from the factory. They were in the plastic conduit but rubbed them raw. It wore through the wire coatings and the plastic coating on the shifter cable. Some of the wires burnt in two.
Better check your RZR because Goose said he found his wearing through too. I fixed 2 of the 4 wires tonight. They are in a very bad location to get to.
