| I had the speakers mounted in pods on the rear bars. As cool as they looked function sucked, they were always in the way. So I decided to build a overhead console with everything built into it. This was the first time I've done such a build and so far it's turned out ok. Definitely a learning curve and I remember why I hate body work...I suck at it!  Anyway, the plan incorporates a new Poly Planar MRD85i deck in the center, UHF radio to the left, switch panel on the right, remote mounted UHF speaker, Pyle 4-ch marine amp, and four 6" kickers. After hours and hours of fiberglass, bondo, and sanding finally got the first coat of paint on it tonight. Still need to wet sand and get out some fine scratches but no too bad...at least for my skills   The deck is cool, built in ipod/usb/phone dock, sd card, & Bluetooth. Before paint:  Primered:  First paint....Jagged X blue   Probably took me twice as long as someone who new what they were doing  Now the fun part, wiring & mounting. More to follow.... | |

| Ronnie: Enclosed subwoofer with built-in 150w amp. Looked for a while trying to find one with the right dimensins to fit under eh passenger seat.
