| If you hook up to multiple trailers I'd say suck it up and buy one of those aluminum adjustable hitch with the built in locks. I put it off for a while but everytime I turn around I was needing to swap my slide in out because I needed a different drop or ball size. I've got this one https://www.etrailer.com/Ball-Mounts/Diversi-Tech/DTALBM6600.html they also sell a 8 and 10 drop. They aren't cheap but u won't have to buy a different hitch later when you end up with a different height trailer. I've got 5 trailers and they all either need a different drop or different size ball. Even if u only have onetrailer, a year from now when you buy a different one or have to hook up to your buddies boat, ect the adjustables are nice. | |
