More projects to work on Empty
PostSubject: More projects to work on   More projects to work on EmptyMon Aug 11, 2008 9:41 pm

Well UPS showed up again today..... cheers

My new Warn winch came in today..... allright

Now if i just only had a Roll cage.... affraid

I took the cage apart and sent it to place here called
unpaint. I want the wrinkle crap off. i hate that stuff.
it is hard to clean. and i am going to add a few bars.
and weld me some tabs on to bolt the new aluminum roof
i am going to build. i am just going to paint or powder coat it back
black like the bottom hafe. I was just going to build me a new cage.
but i got alot to do between now and kentucky. so i dont have
time to order tubeing and get new mounts. i may build one later
about 2 inches shorter like the race cages.
I doubt yamaha will coat these with this wrinkle finish much longer.
all rhinos are built in a plant not far from me in newnan GA. and the guy at unpaint.
says he has to dip 10 a week for the yamaha plant. cause when thay
coat them at yamaha with that wrinckle mess. hafe of them dont turn out right.
and must to be redone. Rolling Eyes
it is a more durable finish , but you cant repair them when thay do get scratched.
he said there thinking about going back to the way and 04 and 05 was done.
just powdercoated simi gloss. that is what i am going to do.

Chris... Eat
