New T4 vs Polaris GENERAL

Hi im Troy McClure, you might remember me from such films as "Mommy why does my commander only have 3 wheel drive" and "Oh no here comes Hollon with a sly grin on his face".

So remember the guy who swore he would never own a Polaris? Not going to lie the general really has my attention. Anybody got one yet? I was set on buying a new T4 next month but as much as I hate Polaris, the general seems like the real deal, just wish it had 4 seats but 2 are good for now, still no kids so no real reason!! Thanks guys, see you finally back on the trails this spring.

I swore no Polaris also... we now have two!! Good luck with whatever you choose or should I say better luck!!

It must be something polaris put in the water, Tammy and I have been thinking about getting a rzr xp 1k or xp 4 1k. Anyway, it's good to see you posting. Hope to ride with you soon!!!

I just sold the old T Rex so now that I got a little jangle in my pocket something should be coming soon see you guys on the trail and any dealers have a red general let me know

Matt, I have crawled all over the general and what appeals to me is 1) lower low gear 2) sealed bushings 3) has winch 4) I like a dump bed I have missed my yard truck (the old prowler) ; in the deluxe 5) nice doors/ roof . I like the suspension (I have read that if you are not doing whoops it is great) although I wish it had more ground clearance. This will most likely be my next machine.

My only Digress about the General is no turf-mode..Stupid. IMO.

Better look at the rear suspension looks same as the 570 pretty weak just checked one out at windrock this weekend not impressed at all

The suspension is the same as the rzr S 900/1000

I dont think the rzr 's have front sruts and the rear has way smaller shocks and no resevoirs on them

I saw a blue one i guess the orange ones have better suspension rzr says it does use rzr s suspension my bad

I looked at a blue one yesterday and it has a arms.  Just has preload adjustment shocks ,no reservoirs

The Orange one has the best shocks

I know you probably don't want to travel this far,but Lexington motorsports has several generals' in red.Don't mind me I' just excited that we'll be riding together soon...

I came from a T4, sold it and bought the new Honda Pioneer 1000-5 deluxe.....I have not driven the General but I'm loving the pioneer! Full bed when you need it or 2 extra seats when you don't. Not to mention its way quieter than my T4....
