I finally got new brake lines put on my 2004 1/2 Duramax today. Seeing all of my friends have their brake lines rust and burst or leak, I finally got mine replaced today. Dealers wanted $1,200 to $1,700 to do the job. I stopped in at a local shop last Friday called Singletary's Automotive. The guy quoted me 4 or 5 hours labor at $90 an hour. He sent me to the Chevy dealer to pick up the coated brake line kit for $78.00. He did the job today for $380.00. I know where I am sending all of our vehicles to that I do not want to work on, and all of my friends. Thanks Todd.
