| ive been kicking around the idea of a 2" lift. but after doing some searches it seem to creat a problem with heat in the cv boots. i guess the added angel of the axle causes them to generate more heat and can actually blow the boot. maybe only trail riding would not be a problem with heat. around here we have to jump on some back roads to get from place to place. so my concern is if we are cruising at 35mph for 5 miles are they going to get too hot. | |

If i had to say , i would say Moose utilities , makes the nicest set up. bolts on in 30 min, very quality made about $90 bucks I have 27 XTR's and there 2 inch lift. I can drive over a 5 gallon bucket with about 2 inches to spare....

| I would say - lift it if you HAVE to.... have there been times when clearance was really an issue?
If so - and you continue to ride those areas - then lift it.
Otherwise - the more you do - the more stress there is on something else. Pros and Cons to every mod - and lifting is along term con for axles, cvs, joints etc ( you get he pic) but not a huge deal - just know that extra maintenance in those areas is necessary.
