Subject: 2008+ Rhino brakes? Sat Nov 01, 2008 4:54 pm
When Yamaha went to the 4 disc brake set up plus the parking brake did this eliminate the clanking noise when people hit the brakes like the 2004-2007's do? I am considering getting a new rhino but not if it makes the same noise as my 2007. My 2007 didn't start making the noise until it hit about 1200 miles. Even after new brakes it still makes the noise. Any suggestions?

Check the diff mounting bolts, they are known to work loose. Also check the rotor mounting bolts.

may be the roller weights in the sheave. they make some noise when stopping hard.

yes check what rideplate said. also if you dont have an extra diff support bracket get one asap before it tears the frame!
