| Sorry for the bad pics but I took them with my phone. Just wanted to share a couple of pics from the new switch panel I am working on. It is back lit and will be waterproof. These are only the first pics as I am working on it. I will post more pics of the back with the Molex plugs mounted in the enclosure. It will be totally enclosed to make it waterproof. All switches are waterproof and the digital gauges will be made waterproof. The switches are for the following: Winch in and out Air compressor on and off Fog lights Spot lights Rock lights (lights in the wheel-wells to shine on the wheels at night) Aux ( for later use) The one between the gauges is for the horn. https://servimg.com/view/13302932/1https://servimg.com/view/13302932/2

One question I have is how do you get the pics up in the thread without putting in the links? Sorry if this is a newbie question.

Use this service. http://imageshack.us/ Just upload and resize your pic to no larger than 800x600 and then copy the code from the hotlink for forums code and paste it to a post.

| Big-R I can make one for ya just let me know what switches and labels you need. I don't have to use the digital gauges, but they fit better. It also can be a different back lit color.
I am doing a back lit southersxsriders panel too. It should be really cool. I am going to make it the same size as the warning plate.

| Very Very nice! I would like one of those too. Where did you get the switches and gauges? The temp gauge shows 32 F, is that a water temp and the machine was cold or is that an ambient temp gauge? | |

| It shows 32 F because it's just sitting on my workbench with the sender unplugged.
I am changing the color this weekend to green, so that it better matches my Rhino.
I did the blue just because that's the color that the gauges came in.
The gauges are Dakota Digital and the switches are Carling marine switches.

| Not too long to make - maybe a few days. I would have to wait on parts. As for cost the Dakota Digital gauges run about $100 each plus the sender ($25). The Switches run about $13 each. Plus time and material. I have found round digital gauges for less - I think they were around $50 each, but I really like the rectangle shape of the Dakota ones. There will be an enclosure on the back to make it waterproof. Plus it will have waterproof Molex connectors. So there is a lot of stuff you don't see. I would be willing to make a couple for cost for you guys to pimp for me, and if there is enough interest I might start making them. I would estimate cost at around $325-$375 as it is right now. There are cheaper switches, gauges, tec.. out there, so it can be make cheaper. But NOBODY makes a backlit panel now - so And please remember - yours does not have to be the same. You can have the same number of swithes, or less. They can be labeled anything you want. You can stack the gauges on top of each other, etc.. Let me know the exact layout you want and I can get you a price. BTW thanks for all of the positive comments. Hey and if anybody has a file of the SouthernSXS logo I can build a backlit logo panel. Maybe if I get Wheelin a free one he might be persuaded. | |
