New 2010 Yamaha SxS *OFFICIAL*

Yamaha announced today that a new Side x Side will be introduced on February 10th at 12pm EST in conjunction with the 2010 snowmobile launch.

They are dubbing it as "the most versatile Side x Side model ever produced."

i hope they have gave the rhino more power and a stronger drivetrain. if not i may jump ship.

You can see a couple of things in the video. Stock-steel wheels look changed, bumper-cover looks the same, and the tail-gate with a center located latch and color!!!!. All I could spot. And It apperars they havent lost the Yamaha blue!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My prediction. Step up to a 750 single, the 450 replaced with a 550 FI, and a kick azz Sport edition.

so it's Feb. 10 2010 now not 2009? damn it, i had my hopes up....i'm not sure i can wait another year for something different.

so are they releasing the info on feb 10 2009 as a 2010 model or are they releasing the info in 2010.


i just dont think yamaha would let that info out of the bag so soon if they are waiting for 2010.

yamaha likes to keep every thing hush hush untill they about ready for production. its just not like them to have info like this get out if it will be 2010.

Yeah, I have to agree with bush on this one....

Also, they better put two cylinders in it.....

Also I believe this was a dealer-only link..........................so I'm not sure we'll know anything in Feb. until it leaks out. Sorry I corrected the earlier post. This is the annoncement for the 2010 models, they are probably going to be availabe by Aug. 2009.

all I can say is damn it, damn it, damn it!!!! If I wasn't so impatient! oh well I love my new OLD 09 model

big hype= not much new except the snowmobile, im with yank, bet the just boost the 700 to a 750 or maybe a 800 class single (750+ cc) motor and a few cosmetic changes.

The "most versital" says to me that they arent going to compete with the sport type UTVs of the market. I agree maybe 750 and body style change. I hope we are wrong and they stick a two cylinder in the 2010......but I doubt it.

I doubt it, yamaha has no twin cyl motors in anything in their off road lineup. Most times a new motor is released in a atv first then moved to the sxs lineup, past history shows it. griz proved the 660 and the 700 before it ever made it in a rhino.

Word over at Rhino Forums is there will be a 4 seater.

It will not be any difference in the power plant. I bet the same 700. The rzr and the teryx will have to hurt their sales before they change. Which they're sure to do. How many RZR are going on the next ride?

My gut feeling too. Cosmetics massages some maybe.

my local dealer says their yamaha rep is saying its a four seater rhino and that they are not going to make the 450 and make it a 550 that just what he heard

The new Yamaha is going to be in Kentucky late February. They are showing it off to the dealers. Some are saying 950 twin.
