What is the secret when you drink? I have quit more times than I can count but always resume when I go riding, trying to figure out what the trick is. Alcohol makes the urge worse / lowers my reistance.

Man that's Great!   clap  cheers

I use to dip two cans of skoal a day and my wife used to smoked two packs of cig a day and shortly after we got married we made a pack to quit cold turkey...we both have been tobacco free for 16 years and never going back. It is very liberating to be out from under the bondage of nicotine!

Hang in there its not easy but very rewarding when you have finally kicked the habit . 20 years of 1.5-2 cans of Copenhagen a day quit cold turkey eight years ago and only lost the craving about 18 months ago . Now I can say I have quit with no chance of starting back. Bought a new Honda quad the day I quite so it was paid for with the saving ----------now two quads and two SXS's later ----------just thinking It might have been less expensive not to quit ????

I quit smoking cigarettes back in 03.. I use to be a couple packs a day. I've been smoking cigars the last few years, But those are much different. One you dont inhale so its not so bad on your lungs. They also aren't addictive like cigarettes are. I use to have to smoke a cig every 30 mins or so. First thing I did in the morning, right after I ate, ect. Cigars I might smoke 3-4 in a day then I might not smoke one for 3-4 days. I like them but unlike cigs my head doesn't hurt and I don't get pissed off if I don't smoke one often.

Drinking deal I've always been good about. Most of my family have always been heavy drinkers. Its just not a habbit for me. I can go out and get 3 sheets to the wind, but then I might not have a drop for 2 months. LoL I know its a sin on here to say it, But I've thrown beer away out in my shop because it sat in the fridge so long. I tend to drink more sitting around a camp fire then anything else..

I smoked 2 1/2 packs a day for 40 years. I would wake up in the nite and smoke a cig.   One day I dicided to quit.  It was hell but I made it thru it and now I have been smoke free for 10 years.

DD you can do it. You will feel so much better, you will wonder why you did not quit sooner.

'bout forgot to check in this year.
Over 6 years now without a puff!

My brain is just now beginning to forget that I ever did smoke. Or, I could just be getting old and forgetting shit anyway.

A big CHEERS to others that have put them down !!!!
