Ok, Wheelin wanted me to post some changes to how rides will be done.
We need ride captains in the different states.
A ride captain would plan a ride, pick the place,day and time. He would post this info under the state it will be held in and put all the information needed for members to be able to meet up and ride together.
There can be many ride captains as long as they want to do what is required to get the info out but only one ride captain per ride.
The ride captain can plan the ride or can ask others to plan it and or lead it, but the RC would post all that info.
This way everyone from every area can get involved and plan and have great rides.
As for "Official Rides" there will only be 3 maybe 4 per year, A cold weather ride, if anybody wants one(we had that already) and a SPRING,SUMMER & FALL the places for these will be planned as far ahead as possible and held in as central a location that has plenty of lodging so that the most members can attend.
One more thing, the official ride will be planned as a family, every skill level friendly event much like our first ride was with the focus on fellowship and fun. However Members can choose to have smaller more difficult rides on the friday before or sunday after or even break the big group into smaller group to ride that day.
Bottom line, its YOUR riding group, everyone just needs to try to compromise a little and work together. Any thoughts and opinions are welcome just let em fly!
