All new 2010 models for Yamaha motorsports will be introduced on September 8th an NOON. That will be the introduction only; therefore, no dealer will have 2010 product, especially any new Rhino before then. Saying that, the first shipments of new Rhinos, hoping there will be such a thing , will arrive at the Pro Yamaha Outdoor Specialist dealers first. There are a total of 8 in the country:

Miller's Yamaha in Lemont Furnace, PA
Kenny's Motorsports in Brewton, AL
Nishna Valley Cycle in Atlantic, IA
Ken's Yamaha in Norway, ME
Bee Line Sports Center in Saint Joseph, MN
J&W Cycles in Washingtown, MO
Laurel Yamaha in Laurel, MS
Corgill's Yamaha in Poteau, OK

Following the initial shipments, all other dealers that ordered Rhinos will receive theirs. I will be attending one of the model introduction meetings on that day and will get check out any new product in person (says Yamaha). I'll post up any new information, but most of the information will be live on the Yamaha corporate website by the time I get back to the office.

Yamaha will be a big let down. They were blind-sided by the success of the RZR. They have not had time for R&D on a new machine. It will probably be at lest two years before they can challenge the RZR.

I will probably get an "S" then two years from now buy the new bad ass Yamaha or Can-Am. That is how this game goes. You can't stay on top forever.

Well i guess we will find out soon about the kings new clothes. I truly enjoy the banter of whose is best and i will always respect each members decision to whom they have allegiance to. And i swear if gunny wasnt an ace pistoleer, i would be on his butt like white on rice on his rzr riding skills Wink This may be it! 971386

Not much news at all. Here is a little.

ON ANOTHER NOTE, no news of the 2010 Rhino lineup. I just came from the 2010 Watercraft show and some of the guys there spoke freely about upcoming product, i.e. YZ-lineup, but when I pushed about the new Rhino, most deflected or acted as if they had no idea what I was talking about. Could be a good thing, but who knows. Less than 2 weeks until the 2010 motorsports introduction where we'll know for sure...

It would be nice if Yamaha AND Suzuki would step up. This is ridiculous. Polaris is kickin ass in the SxS market.........when are the others gonna step up and take the fight back to Polaris? I would freakin LOVE to see Suzuki with a twin SxS........Yammy too.

If Yamaha comes out with something to compete with the RZR s I hope the seats interchange with the older models because if they come out with one I will have it and I hate to waste my new beard seats. I believe it will be years before Yamaha does something like that.

I still have the gut-feeling, and I could be wrong, it's just a feeling. Yamaha's gonna drop a bomb, a big twin cylinder bomb........I truely hope this RZR thing don't bite me in the ass. But if it happens, and it's good ,the Poo-Poos gone.................
