Tread Lightly Releases New Quick Tips

Most Americans know some basic outdoor ethics rules—like not littering and staying on the trail. However, not everyone knows how to cross a stream responsibly, approach a horseback rider safely or how far away a tent should be from a river.

To help advance outdoor recreationists' knowledge of how to avoid environmental damage and conflicts with others, the nonprofit organization Tread Lightly! has released a newly updated series of "quick tips" for 18 forms of recreation. The tips are available to read online and can also be ordered in a brochure format.

Your still free to start a new thread when you want, but any info that you want to stay on top and not go away you can put in there. you would be amazed at the cans that i have picked up on the trail leading into the backdoor of brimstone. Lt airborne and myself picked up quite a bit at one of our stops going up the mountain. No sense in that kind of behavior.
