FF been over it many times. That area is loaded with Upper Mississippian fossils, 300 to 350 million years old, so they say. Found many a sharks tooth there, and I am 7 hours from the ocean. These sharks diets was mostly shells or muscles. Thats why these teeth look different from what most consider a sharks tooth to look like. Crushing teeth.

Dunno why its so slow loading Chris. Puters plenty fast.

FF.....lots of other fossils from that era. There were at least 15 different tribes of Indians that used the TN river here within about 10 square miles. Of course it was much smaller before the dams systems were put online, so there are lots of artifacts and major flint deposits here too.
