| I just posted my occupation in the "what do you do for a living thread" and thought I would ask any of you guys might know someone selling a mill and or lathe. I have been out of maching for 10 years but kinda like a bicycle you dont forget how to crank handles. I would share a finders fee for anyone that knows of deal on a mill, lathe or both. | |

| If only I would have known last week. A local machione shop sold out at auction. They had a lot of good deals. I picked up a medium size mill for $900. Most of the brakes and shears were way too big.

| What did you get 64? Bridgeport, Lagun...or maybe a china brand? Did you get any tooling collets with? | |

| It's not a commercial mill but it did come with several collets, end mills, parralels, etc. The owner bought it for a new employee and only used it a week before the guy quit.

| watch out w/ expanded metal and shearing it it tends to be a bit sharp 6 of em :D more stiches and scars to add to the list | |

| I worked in my fathers sheet metal shop for a few years ..... there were times that you saw blood and wasn't sure where it came from. That mess was sharp!!!

| this is the worse cut ive gotten in a long long time i got a nice burn scar on my right arm about 1/4"X3" its a winner as well.....part of weldin is gettin burnt :| p.s. my finger hardly even hurts with NO pain pills | |
