Sound Bar Mounting Ideas Empty
PostSubject: Sound Bar Mounting Ideas   Sound Bar Mounting Ideas EmptyFri Jan 08, 2010 6:35 pm

I am building a overhead sound bar for my Rhino and i am looking for some ideas on how to mount it. I was thinking of using velcro strapps to hold it in place. I wanting to mount it in away so I can remove it to wash my buggy with out soaking the unit with water. so any ideas would be a great help.

Thanks Rhino X 2

I am not sure if Velcro would hold a sound bar in.

I am in agreement with Ronnie. You have quite a bit of weight to be held in with just some straps. The stock bolts that hold in the Rhino "crossbar" are about the best idea, IMO.

buy the sound bar that goes between the seats on the roll cage and cover it up with plastic bag when you wash it exercising care not to blast it with hp water.

Dale,
Honestly, the VDP speaker bar is a great value for the money. 120.00 to 160.00, water-proof speakers, dome light. Mine sounds awesome. I've got about 220.00 in the whole system. Mp3,amp, bar and volume control. I just don't think you could build one for that. Maybe a little cheaper, but what's your time worth??
