Why should Ford being the number one selling truck be a surprise? Hell, our country did elect Obama to the the presidency. When will we wise up? LOL

The F150 might ok but their heavy duty trucks with the 6.4 diesel is nothing but junk, I have a 550 tool truck that has been in the shop for 4 weeks and my company has about 10 of these and 5 are also in the shop. All that Ford hype is a joke, couldn't give me one of those junkers and my company is going to buy chevys and dodges next year.

I agree. The 6 L engine has been junk. However, I have a 7.3 and it has been good to me.

i've had dodge work trucks, diesel 3500, couldnt keep front ends or transmissions in them, got a new 3500 ford diesel in 03 for work and turbo went out with 250 miles on it, needed brakes and new front tires at 20,000 miles and front end was soo loose it was hard to keep in lane. Then they gave me a chevy 2500. When I quit that company the chevy had 120,000 and still drove like a new truck. I have a GMC 2500 Diesel for my personal truck, It has 130,000 miles on it. I use it to pull my bobcat and 24ft enclosed trailer all the time and only problem so far was a heater core. I am a GM fan by experience.

well that just goes to show that everybody can't be as smart as ford owners. F series trucks are the best around. i have an 05 f350 diesel that has been a great truck. it is the 6.0 no problems after 5 years.
