| as silly as it sounds, try running some chevron fuel in it, it has tecrolene in it, this will lube up the little shaft the float works from. works on the Arctic cat when I had problems. worth a try.. | |

| The float swells and can cause some stickyness. | |

| The fuel gauges in my rhino behaved the same way. I removed the fuel pump, then removed the float arm. If you do this, you'll see that there are 2 tiny electric leads, for lack of a better description, that move in an arc with the float arm. I bent those little leads about a sixteenth of an inch to put them in good contact with the gauge sending unit. I also used a clean lint free cloth to clean the surface of the leads and the surface that they contact.
I apologize for the lack of the proper terms. But this worked. My fuel gauge is 100% accurate now. DO NOT BEND THE FLOAT. YOU AREN'T ADJUSTING ANYTHING. This whole thing took me less than 30 minutes.

Thanks Yank. I can't take credit for it. I found this info on a Grizzly forum. Works like a charm. Gil | |
