Took a little ride yesterday and my transmission locked up on my '09 RZR it had started making a whining sound and about 1/4 mile locked up came to sliding stop on a gravel road. Anyone have a similar problem? I just left a my local dealer. Sure glad I bought extended warranty

I have heard of a couple people over on RZR Forums that this happened to. I am not sure of the cause, but I am pretty sure that theirs was covered by warranty (if memory serves me right).

Seen it too at PRC. A bolt or pin comes loose in the diff. Usually busts the case.

If your dealer is saying this.....find another dealer. Your not limited to the place of purchase.
