Subject: Fw: Elk/Cat



This is freaking scary. As you know I was alone when I downed this elk in ND. I was using my camera’s timer attached to my shooting stick to give me enough time to get into the picture. I knew there were a lot of cats in the area but had no idea they would come in this close to people. He had to be within 10 feet of me and I didn’t even know it. I about crapped my pants when I looked at the pictures the next morning and saw he was there.

I would have ruined a good pair of fruit of the looms!

I didn't mean to leave the wrong impression with this post. That is NOT ME in that pic & story! I got this via e mail from a pal of mine. If that had been me, they would have shoved that big hunk of cotton up my keester with the pool cue and started to shovel dirt on my fat butt!

That ole boy could have had one hell of a fight on his hands! All the more good reason to carry a nice side arm while in the woods!
