2007 rhino 450 4X4 ???????

Is there any common problems with the 4wd not working on this model? It will not even make the lights on the instrument panel light up. Please tell me this is a simple fix with a new fuse or something silly.

i had a mouse get in my battery box and chew a wire in two . i spliced it back and my 4wd started working again also check the fuse in there !!

I tried checking the fuses but im not sure which one it is or how to test it. My manual says that there are 3 relays/ fuses so i looked at the layout it shows but that is not very helpful. I was hopeing someone could take a pic of theirs and show me which one. Thanks for the help

I have a suggestion.....It looks like there are several of the relays that are the same....I would switch them out to see if that does it.

The funny thing is that i have my rhino that is the same year, make, model and even color but the fuses and their layout in the battery box is different AND neither match the layout of the manual.
I would appreciat a picture of someone elses 450 battery/fuse compartment to see how it compares

The one on the left is the 4x4 and the middle one is the diff-lock relays ......on my 09 450.... turn the key on and reach over and hit the buttons while holding the relays and you will be able to feel the relays working on any model ..... that will let you know that power is going that far anyway...

Thanks for those tips, i will try that this weekend and see if i can feel my relays kick in and then i will go to my neighbors (the broken one) and try that.

Ok, i just went out and tested my relays and i can feel them kicking in so now i will get with my neighbor to see if hers are working. Progress. thanks guys

try to put a test light on the wires going to the acuator and if there is ... make sure and see if it is working...

The acuators do go bad. You can also put a jumper to the acuator to rule out the relays. They are supposed to be sealed, but they can get wet.
