4500 here too. Has worked flawlesly, and i have put it in some binds. If I did it again tho, I'd get the wide-spool.

I had a 4500 and had no issues just upgraded to the KFI for the wide spool..

i have the 4000 works good had an issue but fixed under warranty now got an issue with the toggle switch. but they always make it right. great coustmer service allright

i havent got to use it besides to load my old rear axle in my truck & to pull others out muhaha

Have heard good things about the Viper, but have heard the Gorilla winches are junk. I have a Warn so I cannot speak from first-hand experience.
