Deviated Septum Surgery Empty
PostSubject: Deviated Septum Surgery   Deviated Septum Surgery EmptyThu Nov 18, 2010 7:16 pm

I had it today. Still groggy and my nose is full of snot and blood, but I already can feel a difference for the better.
Hopefully this will turn out to be a 100% success and I will finally be able to breath easy again after years and years of congestion and post nasal drip.

Anyone else gone through this? Pointers to help recovery?

I get the packing out my nose tomorrow. Hopefully I WILL be better then!
I've been off work and sitting and sleeping upright on the couch since the procedure.
Total suckage trying to sleep (or do any other activity) with your nostrils ~95% blocked off.
I CANNOT WAIT to sleep on my side, in the bed, brush my teeth, eat a good meal, etc with both holes hittin' a hunnerd !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a real bad car wreck when I was sixteen. Had reconstructive surgery on my entire face since it was crushed flat by the steering wheel in my 87 S-10. After the swelling went down had to have deviated septum surgery...twice. Know what you're going through but it's worth it. I had breathing problems before my wreck.

The new intake is flowing huge cfm, bay bee !!!!!!!

They pulled out two plastic splint things about the size of a shoe spoon and that was somewhat weird feeling, but DAMN it feels good to be able to breath good!

Anyone needing this done, find a good doc., AND DO IT!! cheers
