| This is exactly how I did mine and the front which has been on for a while is flexiable enough that it has not been torn off thru some very rough stuff. Works great keeping most of the mud off of you too. | |

| I just ordered a set of extreme flares from asylum hardware. I'll get pics up and let yall know how effective they are. By the looks of em they'll keep the mud out for sure!:) It was extremely muddy at windrock last weekend due to the snow melting and I had 3 in. mud on everything! Cldnt get to tools, lunch anything and i said NEVER AGAIN!! LOL | |

The ones you are buying do not keep the mud off as good as our cheap mud flaps. However, you do have doors and might be okay.

| The front gives you extra width as well as down low like urs and the rear alot more width and looks like the same length out the back as urs. Where as on urs your not getting any extra width front or rear. | |

| If you are talking about these then yes I have. The problem with these is the rear flair stops even with the rear of the machine. That allows the mud to sling up and into the bed and the back of your head. Also, the front rear part of the flair stops even with the bottom of the flair. This allows the mud to fly up and hit you in the side. 90% of the mud is coming from the rear of your tires not the sides. Clayboy bought a set of these and was not impressed. Nether was I. If they would extend the rear and the bottom of the front then I would buy a set. | |

| The asylum's aren't too bad but you will want to use some different screws to install them. The ones they supply do not stay in very well. I like the homemade version better cause it gives you a place to set your beer! | |

| Looks good. That part in the back does help a lot. I put Moose fender extentions on mine and it helped a lot in the back. I don't have a picture but they wrap around under the tail lights.. I had to add some rubber to the sides though because they aren't that wide.
Yep that was my first thought on the XP.. Some complained it looked like it had mudflaps on it. Hell thats what they all need a good set of mudflaps!!
