| Wal-Mart has a small, very bright, set (use only one) for about $22.00. I thing they were called something burners. They are so bright I replaced my Ferris commercial Zero Turn lights with them. I used the extra one for the left side (Trimming side) of the deck. Sorry, this is the only pic I have of it. If I remember when we ride tomorrow, I'll take a close up. It is just above the exhaust. | |

| You can also mount some fog lights on your top or anywhere on the rear of the machine. | |

| I use Marine pull/push switches from boat stores. I use mine for working at night hooking up trailers or working on the property and even when I snow plow. On the trail, even in day light, I turn it on when I have to stop to change from Low to High or High to Low so the rider behind me knows I am stopping all the way. Put it on a switch. That way if someone is behind you that has a problem, you can use it to help him. These are very bright. Almost as bright as the front headlights. | |

| Gimpy did you use a relay? Since it's only one 55 watt light, I wasn't sure if needed. | |

No. Just came off the battery, to a fuse, to the switch, then to the light. More pics Switches

| One thing to consider -- if you mount them up high, like Pate's, they'll also provide indirect light down onto the bed so you can see how to get into things (like the all-important cooler) there... | |

I did get some lights like his at first. I still plan on putting them on for that reason. I have a trailer that I use on the property sometimes at night and when we're in the woods I like to see how close I am getting to the edge of a drop off. I have had to turn around and go see why the unit behind me is not there anymore.

I got some after you posted that. I still plan to install them. Just kind of forgot. If Polaris wouldn't have skimped by not including the rear working lights like my 08 had, we wouldn't have to worry.

Glad to help... While you're running wires up there, you may want to think about a "dome light" of some kind. After trying repeatedly to get those battery-operated LEDs to stick to the bottom of the roof, I put some LEDs up there, shining down into the cabin, switched from the dashboard so I can see stuff inside the cabin... How they work: One of these days when it warms up, I need to put all the wiring in a loom or run it through the cage... I did it quick to see how I liked it there -- and it's still in its original shade-tree engineering condition...

| NP, here is the McMaster part number for the magnetic switch 65985K13. I just used it for the ground If I remember right. I also used a relay.. Either the magnetic switch or a switch on the dash turns the light on. The relay only has power if the key is on. | |

| I got two LED lights at Pep Boys. They are about 2 1/2 " in dia and put out great light and use very little current. I mounted them up high so I can get the correct kool aid out of the cooler at night. I would attach pix but I can get it to work | |
