Electric Power steering???

Looking at buying a rzr, and see the power steering option. Is it worth the extra money and what are the pros and cons?

I think the RZR steers fine with out power steering. It is a nice option but there are other mods I would spend my money on first.

Even though I own a Rhino....I would not have another machine without the PS....it's WAYYYY to sweet to drive, especially in difficult terrain.
But I would spend the $$ on a couple other mods 1st also.

It helps if your going to have larger tires or aftermarket rims with more off set.. If you plan on running stock rims and close to stock size tires IMO its really not needed. It does help with bump steer though... If it was more like 350 bucks I'd probably have it.. For 8-900 bucks difference its not worth it to me..

The folks on here that have it swear by it. I am curious, how much is that option?

Price difference is about 800.00.

I believe the unisteer one is $900.00 or so. If you aint gotta install it I would say its worth it.

I had power steering on my rhino and I loved it. I am not weak in the arms or anything, but it just made it easier to handle. I think the RZR is pretty easy to manage without it, but it would be nice to have for when the wife drives.

RZR now. would not own a SXS with out it....

I have it on my rzr4.It is well worth the money in my opinion.

As of today Polaris doesnt offer the power steering on anything except the rzr 4 and the 50'' wide models. So if you want a S you would have to add the unisteer if you want ps, ive seen them as cheap as 775.00 .

Thanks for everyones feed back... That help out greatly... So it's a Rzr 50" with powersteering.. Know the hard part, talking the wife into buying one... Damn this is going to be hard!!!

I would get an S model,and add the PS to it.

I just like the LJS joking! Gunny made me laugh when he said your trips to TN take an extra hour because you hit Long John Silvers. I laughed so hard and that one has always stuck with me.

EZ steer at superatv.com for 559$ shipped complete fot the XP. Tons of them out there working flawlessly. Mine will be in tomorrow. Reportedly they take a few hours to install. It may be the weekend before I get it put on. I'll let y'all know.
