Slightly modified 2011 Rhino 700 ( Only MSD and Muzzy's, and clutch work) with long travel, vs Commander 1000 with Long Travel. Proof that Horsepower isn't everything.

C'mon Marty, you know that power and speed are EVERYTHING... and it has to be a new machine, at that....

Looked to me like the commander was just following, not racing. He never really lost ground or gained ground, just followed.

That is what I was thinking. However, like pate said, it did look like the Rhino suspension was better.

Bingo to you both. Because he was a better driver he knew how to dial in his suspension the way it works best.

Ok...I didnt say anything....But where is Smith at? He should be basking in the glory of the all mighty Rhino!
I did notice the Rhino is prolly more than "slightly modded" with its bed delete and chassis work. But I wont say it wouldnt happen, once things are modded to the extreme levels the "stock" performance goes out the window!

I rode with a Commander Sunday.....It was brand new, lots of power but sucked in tight spots and ruts in the woods. On two occasions we went up very rutted out hills and it seemed very top heavy as he put it, gently, on its side twice. I will save my "not impressed" thought until the owner gets some more seat time. My S and two other regular RZRs had no issues on the same trails. No one else tried the hill I flipped on so kinda hard to compare it there.
