I think you will get the same response from many here. Personally I havent had issues with them in 2500 miles.

My honda had a lot of them too!

Most that I have come across on the rzr so far aren't try self tapers. They are self starters, or that's what I have always called them. Self tapers have a drill point and the threads are much more coarse. Self starters have a standard thread pitch just a tapered nose. When screwing into tubing it is easy to strip out, can be aggravating.

So far I haven't seen anything on the rzr that different than what's used on our kawi and my old honda.

What bolts you having issues with?

no problem, but if you want to put them on for the first time like mounting a bumper then use a small impact driver and its a piece of cake.

They are really self-tappers, just not self-drillers. The holes are drilled, the bolts tap them. Thus the slits cut in the threads to clean the filings out .
