How about the LED's Empty
PostSubject: How about the LED's   How about the LED's EmptySat Apr 30, 2011 3:49 pm

Just wondering from those that have seen them. How are the LED headlights on the new XP900's? How do they compare to replacement HID's?

I installed the XP lights on my 2011 S and I am well pleased with them. They are not as bright as HID`s but there is not that much difference in them.

I've talked to a couple of people that have replaced them for Hids. They look cool but they aren't as bright as a 39.00 set of hids. I think the LEDs retail for 350-400 bucks.

NP, Give it a little time. It wasn't all that long ago a cheap set of HIDs was 500 bucks. Leds are getting better and better, just a matter of time before they come down to a decent price. I'd love a led light bar, but the prices for good one's are crazy Sad

Very scary, looking at 4" HID's to go with the head light HID's.

Burke moto pro (BMP) HID's are pretty dam bright and durable. I had them on my old RZR, loved them. The LED's on my XP sure don't seem to fan out as wide as the HID's did. Kinna hard to see into turns at speed.
