The melting issue has been a huge issue with the 2011s. I'm amazed it wasn't a recall.
As for bushings. Not sure you can really fault polaris for their bushings.. Even the high dollar derlin bushings don't last much longer. Atleast the popo ones are cheap to replace. The balljoints also seem to wear fast, But I haven't heard of any better options. Aftermarkets aren't any better and the guys I know who went to heim joints have had even more trouble cause they aren't sealed.. I do think a lot of the problem is like big R said.. you have 1200# machines that can run 65mph with ATV suspension parts..

My one year, 1000 mile "throw away" piece of shit Polaris RZR still puts a smile on my face when we go riding. 1800 miles and running strong. Had to replace some bushings and tie rod ends and a set of brakes. Also had to replace part of the cage due to inferior design. It should have held up much better when rolled over at 35mph lol! because no doubt a Rhino would not have gotten a scratch in the same situation.

Hey Guys thanks for the input. I know the way we ride on the trails things are going to happen, and I am going to have to do maintenance on any toy I buy. I do not know enough about all the SXS brands out there to say one is better then the other. All Im saying is Im disappointed that in 9 months I have had to replace the Bed, tool box, 2 sets of vent lines, the cover behind the passanger seat, A arm bushings, and a stock head light

Just Dissapointed and venting thats all.
