| are they worth it or not worry about them. First trip to brimstone I tore a inner cv boot and bent the front a-arm dont know if the guards would have helped or not. trying to decide between a-arm guards or a new skid plate. | |

| I have UHMW guards and like them pretty well. A couple months ago I hit a rock pretty hard, the guard popped off and the a-arm got busted up. Maybe if I didn't have it the arm would have broke both welds, I don't know.
I think I would go with aluminum next time though. I have superatv forward a-arms now and they are suppossed to be built a little stronger.
I would definately get a new skid plate without a doubt. I built my own UHMW plate and I absolutely love it. It has taken a pounding and couldn't imagine riding without it. It stretches from the rear hitch all the way up and wraps up the front end where the bumper would be.

| To me, it's not an either or -- you need both.
Full under-body armor (such as Warn makes) would be great, if it weren't so freaking expensive...

| I like having them. I have the ones from EMP. However, they can gather a lot of leaves in the fall and also ice and snow can pack around your axles easier in the really cold weather. However, I will take that trade-off for protecting the axles. | |

| Full skid plate here, no a-arm guards though, it traps mud in-between and tears up the boots!! | |

| Nice pics M&G. I have the Ricochets on my Teryx and really like them. 1/4" thick and lots of holes to let the air in and the water and debris out. | |

| Skids are a must, A arm guards not so much, I did have the EMP A arm guards on my Teryx and was not impressed with them. They hold all kinds of crap and if you bend it they rub against the rim. | |
