| I ordered the xentech hid kit, 880 bulb, 6000k.
First off there are two wires on the existing headlight wires, a green one and a dark grey or brown one. My service manual doesn't specify, or I have overlooked it, which wire is ground and which is hot, I take the dark wire ground and lighter color hot, is that correct?
Next, connecting to the existing wire harness to the ballast. My kit came with a connector to plug in the ballast and the other end had a prong on each wire then came with a separate oval connector, same size as stock wire case, to attach the wires too, so I did. Correct female plug to the existing male headlight plug, except that the prong are spaced apart too far and the clips are opposite so they won't snap together. Here is what I did, I put a slight bend on the prong in the hid wire end so it would fit inside the stock plug, then since they wouldnt latch together I took a heavy duty releasable zip tie and ran long ways so they could not slip apart. Has anyone else had to do this?
One more thing, where are u guys putting the ballast, not sure if I just true double side tape, lol!
Thanks! | |

| I zip tied my ballests to the radiator support on the front. It worked good for me. A lot of guys put them in the front hood area but I didn't want to lose that area for storage and have to drill holes in it. | |

| are you not running a relay kit to pull power from your battery? I didnt at first and I couldnt stand the flickering caused by the stator. | |

| It flickers briefly when I first turn them on but that's it and it only seems to be the passenger side bulb, may be wrong though, could be both. I guess I have the hot and ground correct or they wouldn't have turned on. There's not enough cable to put the ballast in the storage area, guess ill do like u chipper and zip tie it up. I also have the amp for my stereo in the front storage area, not much room for anything else, lol! | |

| Hid's will flicker when you first turn them on until the the ballast fully power up. takes about 10 seconds or so. I haven't had a problem but i've heard that some people have to take the fuse from 20 to 25 amp due to the initial power surge, after that it levels out. | |

| kawies stators may be different but mine flickered at idle when the rpms was down. it was all most following the lope of the motor. the relay harness solved it though. I also put an odessey pc925 battery in to at the same time. | |

- Where did you get them
I order them from the DDM tuning website. I think it came to like 45 bucks shipped to my house....Only downfall was that it took about 3 weeks to get them. I never had an issue and I played in the water and mud all the time!! | |
