Anyone running 5pt belts? I would like to see some pictures of how you mounted your sub belts. I plan on buying Crow 5pt.

LT , you do not want a 5 point. on a Buggy.
I have had them in Drag Cars , and there ok.
But in a Dirt buggy bouncing up and down all day. its going to get uncomfortable
on the tender spot if you got them pulled down..... lol!
you will feel like you were getting wedgie all day..... affraid

I would stay with a 4 point.. Wink

I did not install the sub belt with my 5 points. I agree with Chris on the comfort thing. That sub belt may be valuable in a high speed head on. Especially if you wear your harness straps loose with a sternum strap. But, the way we ride most incidents are not high speed. ( Although their is that possibility) If i was riding in the dunes all the time i would use it for sure.

The 5pt is more for keeping the belts in place for Marlee. Everytime I strap her in the belts ride up on her and the lap belt is more at her chest than her waist. I am going to buy the 5pts and if I choose not to use the sub belt all the time, then so be it. I would rather have it and not need it, than wish later that I had bought it.

Well , if you are getting them for Marlee , That may be fine.
she is small and a girl , and the effect is going to be different.... Wink
But as for your self. Bouncing over rocks it is going to pull down in your
Crotch. I think you will find it uncomfortable... allright

I can tell ya this, I was in the air too. I bought 5 pt and ran it with out the sub belt. after 2 rides I got tired of the lap belt riding up my stomach so I installed the sub belt and keep it just the lenth to keep the belt from riding up and wow what a difference. MUCH more comfortable.

I with you. I would like to try it. I hate how the belts ride up.

Same here, I have tried it both ways and like the sub belt. My gut gets brused from the belt riding up.
