this survey was sent in my email. check it out. i think polaris is working on some new motors. what i got from it is there thanking of doing away with the 800 and addeding a lower cc motor that makes the same HP. my guess is there going to up the power on the 570 and use it and not the 800.

That 570 motor is just a tick off of the 800 performance wise now. They may do away with the 800 and offer the 900 in the XP and RZR4 models. The 570 advertises 0-35MPH in 4.0 seconds with a top speed of 60 MPH. The 800 is 0-35MPH in 3.8 seconds with a top speed of 63 MPH. Not a lot of difference.

570 is 46HP, 800 is 53HP. 570 has different gearbox and Gearing.

I just wonder if they will get rid of that 800 motor. There are a slew of them out there. I wonder if that would cost some customer base to leave Polaris. I guess time will tell and maybe give that motor time to prove itself. That sure is alot of power out of that little motor. I wonder how long it will hold up.

If that is the case, I will keep my 820 until something better comes along.
