Their salary is 400 plus 50k expense. They receive 200k a year for life and secret service protection for them and their spouse for 10 years.. It use to be for life.. They also are paid for transition expenses for going from president to private life. Bush got 1.5 MILLION for his moving expense..
Drop in the bucket compared to what they spend while in office.. Ever watch that behind the scenes of air force one? The amount of money and resources they use daily is depressing... A day trip two states over probably cost us a half a million.
